Liberal bias at the Oscars is deeper than you thought

The Wolf of Wallstreet is just one of ALL of the movies with liberal propaganda at the Oscars!
The Wolf of Wallstreet is just one of ALL of the movies with liberal propaganda at the Oscars!
The Wolf of Wall Street is just one of ALL of the movies with liberal propaganda at the Oscars!

Hollywood is the propaganda arm of the Obama administration and the Democrat party. To most people, this is obvious. After all, most actors are French and gay, and the popular movies are all just propaganda to turn you into a pot-smoking gay person as well.

However, the liberal bias in this year’s Oscars is even deeper than most people have ever suspected! After performing an in-depth analysis, looking specifically for liberal bias in movies nominated for Oscars, you will be shocked to find out what I uncovered.

American Hustle

First of all, only infants who require them for sustenance should be able to see that much sideboob.

Secondly, how can it possibly be a coincidence that right around the time Chris Christie, a beloved New Jersey politician, has his ethics called into question by the liberal corporate media, a movie comes out where Carmine Polito, a beloved New Jersey politician, has his ethics called into question and ends up in prison?

It’s obvious that the corporate media waited to reveal what Chris Christie would have done if he did it so they could release an allegorical film about it and nominate it for ten Oscars.

Captain Phillips

You’re probably thinking “Hey, there’s no way a movie about the United States military laying the smackdown on some African-American thugs can be liberal propaganda!”

(You might also be thinking the movie is about Somali pirates hijacking a Navy ship, so by definition they are in no way African-Americans and my characterization of them as such is incredibly racist. Well you’re right! About the first part, I mean.)

The source of the film’s liberal bias is evident in what it was nominated for. Tom Hanks, who played the good guy in the movie, was not nominated. Barkhad Abdi, the film’s antagonist, was nominated for Best Supporting Actor. Why would they do that, unless we are supposed to root for the pirates?

It’s the same as when the Academy nominated Heath Ledger for The Dark Knight; it was because the Joker was the character we were supposed to root for. And why not? The Joker represents a true American patriot taking his country back from big government Batman.

Dallas Buyers Club

The first minutes of Dallas Buyers Club are amazing. FINALLY, after years of Matthew McConaughey languishing in mediocre girl movies, he’s back in full force playing a red-blooded real American. He wears cowboy hats, rides bulls, and drinks beer…until he gets HIV and all of a sudden he does the one thing no real conservative would ever do!

His character fundamentally changes as a person, going from a selfish homophobe to a tolerant, empathetic activist who befriends a transgendered person and ends up helping hundreds of people with AIDS in Dallas, Texas.

What a shame.

Gravity

There is one thing Gravity does right: it shows that being a single mother is immoral, because Sandra Bullock’s character, Dr. Ryan Stone, was a single mother and her daughter died. Would her daughter have died if Stone were not a strong independent woman who did not need a man? Who knows? But probably not.

Where Gravity falls into the orbit of liberal propaganda is when America, the only country to ever actually go to space (look it up), is unable to do anything to help Sandra Bullock. Who ends up providing help to her in her journey back to Earth from seeming inescapable peril in the infinite void of space? China! Yes, China! The people who own 100% of our debt and apparently wrote 100% of this movie.

Her

If there is anything we have learned from history, it is that progressive causes always fail. It is abundantly clear that in the near future, people will respect the sanctity of marriage and the virtues of not having pre-marital sex. Yet in this movie, the opposite seems to be true.

Theodore Twombly (Joaquin Phoenix) falls in love with his computer named Samantha (Scarlett Johansson), and they have sex! Yes, sex! Kind of. I’m not married so I assume that whatever they did was sex. How am I supposed to know?

This suggests that Spike Jonze sees the future as a place where 1. gay marriage is an accepted norm and 2. because of this, now people can marry their dog, their sister, and yes, even their computer. Clearly that’s not going to happen…but we all know it is the liberals’ wet dream!

Nebraska

How dare Alexander Payne make a movie in black and white only to name it after an American state? Everybody knows that black and white movies are for French people. We watch our movies in color!

Philomena

I actually have not seen Philomena because it is a British movie and I am an American. I did accidentally see the trailer during a screening of Grown Ups 2 a few months back so I think I know enough to write about it. In the trailer, we learn that the title character, played by Dame “Judi” Dench, had a baby but the unfairly villianized Catholic Church made her give the baby away.

Fifty years later, her EUROPEAN baby becomes an AMERICAN congressman…who is a Republican! Other than the very Canadian and very secretly liberal Ted Cruz, all Republicans are American. How dare they suggest otherwise.

12 Years a Slave

Film critic Armond White took to Fox News to explain why 12 Years a Slave is liberal propaganda a few days ago. I was going to just embed video of him talking about the movie, and then I asked myself…what show did he go on to do this?

The answer: the liberal propaganda show Red Eye! True to form, Armond White said that this movie is liberal propaganda because it fits the liberal narrative that racism is over.

WHAT? Racism IS over. Just ask the Republican National Committee..

This proves that Armond White’s assertion that 12 Years a Slave is liberal propaganda is meant to distract everyone from the fact that it actually is liberal propaganda!

Wheels within wheels, people!

The Wolf of Wall Street

When I first saw this movie, I thought that it was the best representation of the greatness of capitalism since Atlas Shrugged. Jordan Belfort and people like him are heroes who, in doing what was best for them, ultimately did what was best for everyone.

It’s a shame that big government had to tear them down, resulting in the big economic collapse in 2008. It seemed like there was no way the Academy would ever honor a film that presented capitalism in such a positive light, until they did…

Director Martin Scorsese and star Leonardo DiCaprio have explained time and time again that apparently my view of the film is entirely inaccurate. La la la la la la la la la, I can’t hear them over the sound of how glorious the raping and pillaging of the American middle class was for freedom and liberty.

So there you have it… all of the liberal bias I was able to find by looking really, really hard for it. That’s the amazing thing about liberal bias… the more you look for it, the more you can find it in everything!

Holiday box office statistics have a liberal bias!

According to Boxoffice.com, a website that claims to report accurate box office figures, The Christmas Candle only made $405,697 over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and $1,631,471 during its theatrical run thus far.

How could such an error happen?

Everybody knows that Hollywood is a wretched cesspool of liberalism that usually only generates movies intended to promote poor values in our children. However, from time to time filmmakers wise up and make movies that defy the common Hollywood ideology. Films such as Fireproof, Soul Surfer, and Atlas Shrugged Part 1 have all been incredibly successful, suggesting that Americans crave wholesome entertainment even when know-nothing critics say these films are “a fiasco” and “lifeless”.

Christmas Candle sets new records, according to unskewed non-liberal statisticsThe Christmas Candle, produced by none other than Rick Santorum, is another one of these righteous conservative films. It was released on November 22, starring British (yuck) superstar Susan Boyle and the girl with the shockingly tiny waist from Les Miserables (pronounced “Less Mizz-ray-bulls”).

The Christmas Candle was the highest grossing movie over the Thanksgiving holiday, beating both The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Disney’s new animated propaganda picture Frozen.

Or at least, that’s what the headlines should have said…

Perhaps they accidentally placed the weekend gross on the wrong line of the spreadsheet. Maybe they meant to swap it with the $74.5 million they claim The Hunger Games: Catching Fire made in its second weekend. Although somehow equally dubious websites like Box Office Mojo have very similar numbers. Very suspicious.

Clearly this is an example of big Hollywood trying to hide the truth from the people. Susan Boyle is far more beloved than Jennifer Lawrence, I mean…who even is that? And besides, why would people go see a movie called The Hunger Games over Thanksgiving?

The reported numbers are wrong. They have to be wrong; there is simply no way America would turn their back on a Christmas musical produced by Rick Santorum!

Think about it. I have over 49 friends on Facebook, and 31 of them clicked ‘like’ on The Christmas Candle’s page. Statistical extrapolation suggests that over 60% of real conservative American patriots like the film.

Since over 60 million people voted for Mitt Romney in 2012, that means roughly 38 million people have seen the film. If they each spent $8.12 on a movie ticket that means The Christmas Candle made over $308 million dollars this weekend!!

Explain that, Obama.

MTV has a liberal bias!

Miley Cyrus is a conservative... she just doesn't know it.

Miley Cyrus is a conservative... she just doesn't know it.

Conservatives are the secret majority, even in Hollywood. Hollywood conservatives must stop living in fear: it is time to expose the plots and conspiracies of the evil liberal machine.

It’s no secret that the entertainment industry and Hollywood in particular have no patience for conservative voices among their ranks. There are a few who are courageous enough to stand up for what makes America great. They are some of the most respected entertainers in modern history. Clint Eastwood, James Caan, Gary Busey, the list goes on and on.

However, there are probably quite a few other actors and musicians that have conservative beliefs but do not have the gumption to “come out of the closet” and show their true (red, white, and blue) colors out of fear for their career.

Recent events have shown that his fear is completely justified, and that MTV will stop at nothing to embarrass good, hard-working, God-fearing conservatives!

Consider music legend Billy Ray Cyrus, who claims to have voted for President Obama but has also performed at Sean Hannity’s freedom concerts, so it would achy breaky my heart if he weren’t a Republican.

Another suspected celebrity-Republican-in-hiding is former Pictionary host and all-around dreamboat (no homo) Alan Thicke. While he has publicly blended in with the usual bland Hollywood liberals, he did play Kirk Cameron’s father on Growing Pains. Cameron would have had to learn his virtues from somebody, so I think it’s safe to wager that Alan Thicke had something to do with Cameron growing up to become a stellar God-fearing American patriot.

Obviously, since the Hollywood machine hates conservatives so much, their number 1 priority is to embarrass good (suspected) conservatives like Billy Ray Cyrus and Alan Thicke!

It comes as no surprise, then, that MTV, which has been propagating the liberal agenda to America’s youth since 1981, would dupe the American people into watching a vile and disgusting performance by the children of these two legends: Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke.

Miley, a wholesome country girl whose catchphrase “Sweet niblets!” delighted millions of red staters on Hannah Montana, shocked the country when she manipulated herself with a foam finger and “twerked” around the stage like an epileptic.

Thicke then came out on stage and performed a duet with Cyrus to his hit song, Blurred Lines, a song that all girls can learn valuable lessons from about the importance of caving to the will of men.

Granted, the message of this song was the saving grace of the performance… but otherwise, the pair of them subverted the expectations of their wholesome Christian audience, who had no idea that these young musicians were capable of committing such atrocities.

HOW DID THE DEMONIC SPECTACLE HAPPEN?

MTV clearly manipulated Cyrus and Thicke to perform this vile spectacle against their will in order to shame Billy Ray Cyrus and Alan Thicke, two men we in the Republican party are proud to call our own… even if they can’t reciprocate out of fear of persecution.

But even that wasn’t enough for the liberal agenda… they had to use their weapons in the media to bring shame to the families of those who do not wish to participate in their plans to destroy America. It is a conspiracy within a conspiracy.

Welcome to Obama’s America.

The State of the Union Awards

Red Carpet

Red CarpetFor those of us who live in Hollywood, awards season is a time of non-stop excitement.  The Academy Awards, Emmys, Tony Awards, WGA Awards, SAG Awards, and of course the most dramatic of them all: the State of the Union Awards.

The ceremony for this year’s SOTU Awards was not as dramatic as it has been some years in the past, but still provided a few upsets and some unexpected surprises. Now that the red carpet has been cleaned, and the pomp and circumstance is over, it is time to review the results of America’s biggest award ceremony since the previous one.

Best Supporting Actor: Joe Biden cruised to an easy win on the “I’m just happy to be nominated” image he’s been perfecting for years.  John Boehner whined to the advance press junket, “I don’t even want to be there.  I’m not a character actor, I’m a leading man!”  Boehner’s many critics, however, point out that there is more to being a “serious” actor than being able to cry on cue.

Best Supporting Actress:  Michelle Obama received universal support for the win with no other real contender through the awards circuit.  She also had the distinction of being the only person in attendance who bothered to get dressed for the evening.  The standard suit and tie, military uniforms and sensible pant suits gave the pundits little to discuss during the lackluster red carpet arrivals.

Best Foreign Language Film: This always yawn-worthy category, which typically serves as a bathroom break for most viewers, was once again carried by “Immigration Reform,” though much of the nuance of the subject matter is lost in translation on an audience that is not really interested in reading a movie.  An unnamed source claimed Rick Perry could be heard doggedly pushing his “Build A Bigger Wall” entry, which was not nominated.

Best Editing/Special Effects:  “Energy” and the new approach it brings to film cleaned house at the technical awards, but “Big Oil” continues to pound the fledgling competition with its massive budget, over-saturated marketing campaign and familiar action-style editing.

Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy Film: “Climate Change,” the only submission in this category since “Let’s Go To Space” stopped being a contender, has no real budget and continues to submit the same tired plot in a re-edited version of the same project in the hopes it will find a new audience.  And funding.

Longest Running Franchise: “Taxes: Loopholes and Spending” managed to squeeze out a win over the uninspired “Jobs, Jobs and Good God We Need More Jobs” to take home the award in this category. However, with every entry exhibiting a complete lack of any long-term plot development, most critics agree that an uninterrupted camera shot of a wall of paint drying would win in this category if someone would just submit it.

Best Documentary:  “Bring Our Troops Home IX” is the newest edition of the documentary series that always manages to evoke strong support for a win. Some critics are baffled that audiences have not grown bored of the concept, since the original “Bring Our Troops Home” documentary was released in 1964.

Best Adapted Screenplay:  “Government: Smarter Not Bigger”, released by the Democratic Films production studio, was the clear winner in the Adapted category. Representatives of competing studios could be heard grumbling, however, that stealing a plot is not the same as adapting it.

Best Epic Film: “Entitlement Reform” continues to be the goliath here, handily winning again, but it continues to seem as though no one has actually gotten around to watching the grinding epic all the way through to find out how it ends.

Best Actress:  The winner by a landslide, Hillary Clinton, was noticeably absent.  Many believe she is already in pre-production for her next pet project, to be released in 2016.

Best Actor:  This award was not given.  In a moment of embarrassment for the entire industry, voters determined that no performance was worthy of a win.

Best Feature Film: The controversial big winner of the night was “Guns.”  The tired subject made an explosive return to the ceremony, though the actual meaning of the project evokes strongly divisive responses between those who defend it as art and critics who believe it is glorified torture porn.  Beloved actress Gabby Gifford came out opposed to it, apparently willing to sacrifice her future career on the altar of Jane Fonda.

Host Barack Obama: The grassroots affection which pushed him through his first several years presiding over the event has dissipated as many now believe that the “Hope and Change” sweep of 2008 was undeserved.  Obama played the evening strongly toward fans of his current body of work, patronizing his critics and insulting the discerning viewer who refuses to be sold on his flash-over-plot action-style vehicles.

Notable Shutouts:  Despite strong support from film festivals and young ticket buyers, “The Gays” was all but shut out.  The most audible grumbling, before and after the broadcast, was from the “Tea Party” cast, producers and fans who were not even invited to present.  Rand Paul, deemed unworthy of an actual nomination for his work in “Tea Party”, cheekily gave his own acceptance speech anyway.

Best Performance by A Prop: Best Male Ingénue winner Marco Rubio’s water bottle.  No one remembers his acceptance speech, but the gulp heard round the world was the talk of the after parties.  He may be a flash-in-the-pan Bobby Jindal waiting to happen as his career falls from studio films to cable one hour dramas.

Top 10 Liberally Biased Movies of 2012

Big Gay Mike Warning

Emerson Collins, guest writer

Hollywood correspondent Emerson Collins sums up the most dangerous sources of liberal bias coming out of the Industrial-Entertainment Complex this year… as well as a few conservative successes!

10. Zero Dark Thirty

This liberal retelling of our patriots bringing down Osama Bin Laden makes it seem as though Obama and some lowly female CIA analyst just went out and found Bin Laden by themselves. Without the years of work by President George W. Bush, a true conservative, and the CIA, the FBI and Homeland Security, President Hussein Obama would not have been able to do his figurehead duty and allow the Seals to get on with doing their job. This film does a tragic disservice to conservative America and the tireless work of the military-industrial complex.

9. Argo

Anyone familiar with the actual Iran Hostage Crisis will not recognize the story in this movie. Every conservative knows that it was conservative hero President Ronald Reagan’s inauguration that struck fear into Iran and ended the crisis.  But in this laughable telling of Jimmy Carter’s spineless handling of the crisis, there is no mention of that. Even worse, mediocre-at-best actor Ben Affleck seems determine to preach the lie that America needed Canada’s help to save those six Americans. CANADA!? As if. Everyone knows Canada never gets anything right.

In fact, if both Canada and Jimmy Carter had just let the military do their job, our citizens would have all been back a hell of a lot faster than 444 days.  Argo is a fiction. And a bad one.

8. The Sessions

This is a movie about sex therapy and surrogacy.  What more needs to be said, folks? The Bible tells us everything we need to know about sex.  If your parts don’t work, God doesn’t want you having sex. Period. Who are you to question God’s plan?

7. Bully

A “documentary” about bullying between adolescents.  This is a perfect example of liberal propaganda, as though learning to roll with the punches and defend oneself isn’t a part of the process of becoming a man.  If a boy doesn’t learn to stand up for himself at a young age, he’s never going to learn.  Calling a boy a “bully” just because he is ready to act like a man is starting to sound like some of that “hate speech” liberals are always going on about.  We should be teaching the others boys to stand up for themselves as well, so they don’t end up like the kids in this movie whining about how they cannot defend themselves.  Boys will be boys. If we don’t want to turn them all into girls, we just sometimes have to let them beat on each other.

6. Prometheus

So according to this movie, human beings are the result of an accidental DNA spill by a bunch of aliens somewhere across the universe? That’s not only stupid, but it goes against the Bible. Not that those atheist liberals would know about that.

Liberal Bias Lorax5. Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax

It is truly a tragic day when a beloved children’s author’s work is overtaken by a liberal agenda to preach doom and gloom about the environment again.  This liberal “cautionary tale” barely hides the fact that it loves trees more than people.  They should have just titled it “Greenpeace presents Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax and We Love Plants More Than People”.

4. Les Miserables

It’s a musical.  Enough said.

3. Magic Mike

Big Gay Mike WarningStephen Soderbergh, one of Hollywood’s most liberal “directors”, casts a bunch of male actors and writes a love letter to homosexuals. They did not even try to hide it in the marketing campaign and the costumes.  Oh sure, they’ll tell you it was for women. But that’s obviously a lie. It’s real mission is to turn good, God-fearing conservative men into homosexuals.

In fact, anybody who spends a lot of time thinking about how bad homosexuality is can easily tell that this movie is meant to stir evil homosexual erotic feelings in men. It was a big gay movie, and there is no way around it. If you are a conservative man who, quite naturally, spends a lot of time worrying about homosexuality, then just watch this movie again, and you’ll be certain. Watch it really, really closely.  You’ll be able to feel how disgusting and gay it is. There is no hiding it.

1. and 2. Lincoln

This movie is so obnoxiously liberal that it deserves both the first and second place. As we face the current fiscal cliff because liberals refuse to slash useless government programs, Lincoln is the worst liberal Hollywood moment of the year.  You might wonder how the fiscal cliff is related to Lincoln, but that is only because the liberally biased media is covering up this story. If Lincoln had not destroyed the entire economy of the South, we wouldn’t be facing this current fiscal cliff in the first place, because the power would be in the South where it belongs. That’s what the movie Lincoln should have been about, and what it would have been about if Hollywood wasn’t so immersed in liberal bias.

Conservative Success in Hollywood in 2012

Fortunately, there were two Hollywood films that managed to overcome the liberal bias in Hollywood, even if only for a moment a two. So, to end on a positive note, we should recognize those moments as well.

Django Unchained

Ignoring Jamie Foxx’s character’s uppity-ness for a moment, Samuel L. Jackson manages to demonstrate that many slaves were treated well, and were happy with being a productive part of the southern economy before Lincoln destroyed our nation.  Bravo, Mr. Tarantino.

Skyfall

James Bond is the perfect conservative example of a man of action willing to do what needs to be done.  Skyfall finally gets it right as Javier Bardem plays the most realistic villain ever in a Bond movie, mainly because he is a homosexual.  Any good conservative knows that as long as the homos are trying to ruin the foundation of families in America, they should always be portrayed as the villains they are.
